You know the rest. So instead of flying from NYC to Tokyo, we flew NYC to El Lay (LA). We thought we'd be in Honolulu right now, but apparently so did everyone else in LA. We cut our losses and decided instead of spending the day at LAX we would head to Manhattan Beach. Dinner tonight with Meghan Kinslow, Ryan Howard and Julianna Damewood on the beach. What a nice twist. Thrilled I get to see my west coast friends before heading out. Tonight: Tokyo. Pictures from M.B. to come soon.
