Touch Down!

We have made it! Luggage and all. We landed in Bangkok at midnight and made it to the hotel around 1:30am. The city is buzzing. The people are unbelievably friendly and I'm surrounded by highrises. I know all that is going to change tomorrow. As mom and I sit down in the room, we turn on the tv and what's on?? An informative piece about The Mercy Centre and how much it does for the poor children of Bangkok.

I made it!!!

3AM in a Bangkok hotel.

Moment of zen: My host mother in Turkey this past winter read my fortune from my Turkish coffee. She's been known to be pretty accurate and intuitive. So far things are going as planned. And I can only hope she's right about the rest of it.

  1. What was the rest of her prediction? Way to leave me hanging. Glad you got to Bangkok finally! It was so good to see you but it was way too short of a surprise visit. xo
