Today has been a day of smiles. I'm surrounded by the most amazing girls, all prepapring to go back to the States for University. Tonight we are sending off our dear Kwang, as she is going to be a freshman in Missouri this fall. Today's post will be a celebration of things that make me smile and will hopefully make you smile too.
A dog with pigtails. This mostly makes me laugh because it makes me think of Allie and her dogs.
Think about how dangerous this would have been at Elon?! Apparently some of the guys here in Bangkok not only have this memorized, but know all of the subsequent extensions to have an English speaking operator, as well as another number for Subway and beer deliveries. This takes lazy to a whole new level. Hilarious.
Skate park with the Mercy crew.
((Don't worry, I'm not testing my luck with a skateboard.))
How can you not smile? Ben teaches one of the Mercy 2 boys how to skate.
And he did it!
Love the M2 boys.
Pung, Poi and Kwang, my little sisters.
Rose and baby Peach. Peach is 3 months old and is the happiest baby, she also has a killer grip.
Ann and the birthday basketball. Ann's face was priceless when I surprised her with this basketball for her birthday, then we naturally had to hit the courts. She schooled me.
Two Mercy girls and the coffee stand outside of Mercy. You ladies keep me awake and make me smile every morning with our daily charades :)
And naturally, the future Mr and Mrs Fackler. Can't wait!
And one more thing to smile about: Ryan Redmond, my friend in the skiing accident, is making major strides and even shocking and impressing his doctors. He's speaking and slowly starting to eat and breathe on his own. The love and prayers are working!
A smile starts on the lips, A grin spreads to the eyes, A chuckle comes from the belly; But a good laugh bursts forth from the soul, overflows, and bubbles all around.

Here's to good laughes that burst forth from the soul,
