Buddhists believe that what one has done is a past life comes back to them in their next life. I think we're all pretty familiar with the term karma. Well, I must have been one pretty awesome person because I am so lucky to have the most amazing friends in the world, and a pretty spectacular family to boot. Today another care package arrived and it was just what I needed, pictures from home. At first I thought, "How did they know?" and then remembered, because best friends just know. This feeling of "love/amazing" was preceeded by a quite lovely morning chat with Mr Florian Rexhepi. When Flo's face popped up on my computer screen, the girls looked over and giggled: "He looks like Jesus." Ha, if only I had taken a picture of this glorious skype date, Flo was in full Jesus glow. Maybe we should bring him over to Mercy.
Speaking of which, if you enjoy staying up really late or waking up really early, skype me. How I love to see all your beautiful faces :)
Now, I have Ms Allie Dennis, Cathleen Carter and Bridget Burkell to thank for a package filled with love, cards, old pictures and trash mags (and cute earrings!). Oh how you girls know me.
Words can't express just how excited I am, even if I look scared...
